Special Webinar on the U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) Proposed Overtime Regulation
The National Restaurant Association and the Restaurant Law Center will be hosting attorneys from Littler Mendelson’s Workplace Policy Institute, a Restaurant Law Center Partner, on a webinar to address DOL’s long awaited Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) to revise the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) salary test for determining when an employee is exempt from earning overtime pay. Our own in house attorneys and labor law experts Angelo Amador and Shannon Meade will discuss what the industry has been calling for in updated overtime regulations. They will host Littler’s Maury Baskin, Shareholder and lead attorney in the business groups’ legal challenge against the Obama Administration 2016 final rule, who will address pending legal issues, and attorney Tammy McCutchen, Littler Compliance HR Director and former DOL Wage and Hour Administrator, who will address key provisions contained in the proposed rule and answer compliance-related questions.
