Issue

Taking effect on December 11, 2020, a four-week Executive Order was issued by the Mayor of Baltimore prohibiting indoor and outdoor dining at the city’s food-service establishments, thereby limiting service to delivery and take-out only.

December 18, 2020

The Restaurant Law Center and additional plaintiffs filed a complaint for declaratory and injunctive relief.

December 23, 2021

The circuit court released its decision, denying plaintiffs’ request for a temporary restraining order. An evidentiary hearing is scheduled at a later date to hear the plaintiffs’ motion for a preliminary injunction.
