Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. filed an appeal seeking to overturn a district court ruling that the defendant (Winn Dixie) “violated the ADA because the inaccessibility of its website has denied [Plaintiff] the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, or accommodations that Winn-Dixie offers to its sighted customers.”

April 7, 2021

The circuit court issued its Opinion, reversing the lower court’s order and ruling in favor of Winn-Dixie with the conclusion that websites are not places of public accommodation.
