Issue

On January 18, 2022, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) sent out a Notice and Invitation to File Briefs in order to clarify and decide the validity of employment arbitration agreements in accordance with applicable law and U.S. Supreme Court holdings. The Restaurant Law Center accepted the invitation and filed an amicus urging the NLRB to continue upholding arbitration agreements recognizing the right of employees to file administrative claims with the NLRB.

The Restaurant Law Center and other trade associations filed a brief of amici curiae in response to the NLRB’s notice.
